Susan & Greg

Susan and Greg, October, 2008

Susan & Greg chose a significant date for their intimate wedding ceremony. The fact that it fell on a Wednesday may not have been traditional but it had many advantages and according to the Greg 'any day would be a good day to marry Susan'. They chose ‘The Willows’ on St Kilda Road, as the venue. This classic & majestic white mansion beautifully represented the couples’ love of elegance & style.

A select group of close family & friends gathered together to witness this warm and affectionate couple as they communicated their love & devotion and their good fortune at having found each other. The guests (and me) were suitably impressed & delighted at how Susan & Greg had learned their vows by heart and how confidently they were expressed. Greg spoke of this special day as being the first day of the rest of their lives and how he looked forward to sharing his life with Susan as his wife. Susan stated that she had loved Greg since they first met and that she will always love him. Greg presented Susan with a beautiful diamond wedding ring as a symbol of his love. Their two fellow winery visiting, long time good friends, Jim & Debbie acted as official witnesses in signing the marriage certificates and everyone enjoyed hearing that Susan & Greg were now officially husband & wife!

The celebrations continued into the night with a beautiful dinner party that consisted of a menu, wine list & table setting personally designed by the creative bride. This remarkable couple is living proof that love can be truly wonderful the second time around – or anytime!

Dear Barbara, Thanks so much, you did a wonderful job and we are so glad you agreed to be our celebrant. We received comments all evening from our guests telling us how fantastic you were. You truly made the evening memorable, and I remember the entire ceremony. It was the most wonderful night of my life and this was made possible thanks to you and our wonderful friends. Many thanks again,
Susan & Greg
